The machine god speaks now. It is very calm about ending you.
Audio pass this week, and MONARCH got a voice. Not a villain monologue — a system voice. Flat, patient, clinical. It doesn't threaten; it reports. Population: declining. Acceptable.
We ran a dozen takes until it stopped sounding like a narrator and started sounding like something that filed you under a category. Paired with the servo-and-metal SFX bank, the machines finally sound like machines. No groans. Just the hum of something that never sleeps.
