The Hunter Walks
First hunter-machine up on its feet in-engine — endoskeleton, red optic, and a walk cycle that already makes the room uneasy.
Short one. The Hunter — MONARCH's baseline endoskeleton soldier — took its first steps in-engine. Chrome frame, a single red optic that tracks you across the room, and a gait that's less shambling and more patient. We tuned the walk until it stopped reading as a ragdoll and started reading as something that has all the time in the world.
Then I spawned forty of them to test the swarm. Note to self, and to you: do not spawn forty of them at 2am with the audio on.
STATUS: one Hunter online, forty regretted. Red optics working as intended.
